I bought this bike in the spring of 2011 and have put over 4,000 miles on it. When choosing the bike, the gentleman at the bike shop had me ride several different brands & sizes. This protocolar one fit me the best. I like to ride TOSRV (220 miles in 2 days) and I love every moment on it!

        Comments:

I ride every day. I bought this bike last May and am still trying to get comfortable in the seat. We paid a bike shop 150.00 to fit us to our bikes and keep having to go back to try something new. I'm starting to think the whole design is never going to work for me!The performance is great but when you can't wait for the ride to end so you can get off, who cares?

          Comments:

I bought this bike to get started in he sport of cycling and Tri's. I read a lot of reviews and drifted towards Trek because I have owned a highbred for 11years and its still solid...so..once I determined my price point it was a no brainer. It really is a nice bike..moves smooth..seat is decent..its lightweight and the shifters are nice for an entry level bike. Finally, it doen't feel or look like a bare bones cycle especially once u get Ur acessories and it is/will be easy to add components as I progress in the sport. Also, it fits great on the trainer! Good Luck-- __feel the backwind--

I think this is a good bike, especially for new riders. I enjoy it very much. The only problem is shifting gears. [...] I would recommend Bike Barn to anyone shopping for a new bike.

              Comments:

I initially got the bike for commuting 10 miles twice a day. The 10 mile ride only takes me about 35 minutes riding at a comfortable pace and I still have energy to work for 8 hours. I am also starting to train for competitions on it. Great bike and a great way to save money on gas too.

              Comments:

It's a pretty good bike for the price point. The only thing I don't like so far is that I would like to be able to shift to heavier resistance because I am used to having to work harder from winter training on a stationary bike. I bought this bike so that I could begin competing in races and in my opinion it will serve me well.

                Comments:

this is my first road bike so I can't comment much on comparing this to other bikes in its class, but if you currently ride a mountain bike and plan to ride on mostly paved surfaces, this is a wonderful upgrade! the bike is very light and I find it very easy to increase my speed quickly and efficiently, the seat and handles are comfortable and I find it easy to ride for long periods of time. I can't think of any negatives to comment on really, of course if you plan to ride on uneven surfaces the narrow tires will slow you down, but other than that, I am very happy with this bike.
